Maritime Academy Oron Pre-ND in Marine
Engineering admission form for 2015/2016 session
is out. Interested candidates especially Ex-cadets
of Electrical/Electronics Engineering of the academy
are hereby informed.
The management of
Maritime Academy, Oron hereby invites application
from suitably qualified Ex-cadets of Electrical/
Electronics Engineering of the Maritime Academy of
Nigeria, Oron into Pre-HND programme in Marine
Engineering for the 2015/2016 Academic Session.
Available Programme
Pre-HND (Marine engineering)
The Pre – HND programme in Marine Engineering
is a bridging programme, design to offer the current
National Diploma graduates an opportunity to
remedy some core courses in Marine Engineering
that they did not offer and cross over to Higher
National Diploma in Marine Engineering.
Eligibility
Candidates that wish to apply for MANOron Pre ND
programme must be holders of National Diploma in
Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the Maritime
Academy of Nigeria, Oron.
Duration of Programme
The Pre – HND in Marine Engineering shall be run
for two (2) semesters (one session). The
programme is residential on full time basis, and on
successful completion of the programme, interested
candidates would be qualified for direct entry into
the Higher National Diploma programme in Marine
Engineering.
Aptitude Test
To be admitted into the Pre – HND programme,
candidates would be subjected to aptitude test
which would be conducted on Saturday, 5th
September, 2015.
Applicants are requested to come for the exercise
with original and photocopies of the following:
1. First School Leaving Certificate/Testimonial
2. National Diploma (Electrical/Electronics
Engineering)
3. Certificate of Origin
4. O/L Certificate
5. Birth Certificate/affidavit of Age Declaration
